The ONLY thing I can compliment is the screen on the controller because of the ability to play games on it without the TV and to use it for menu's etc. Still, it brings complications, Nintendo are shitting on the 3DS with the controller design and the thing will be bulky and expensive. I can't see myself playing Call of Duty on that thing.
I'm not a "hater", I know a flawed console when I see one. It's not so much the console itself, but it was the piss poor unveiling aswell. |
I am sure when it is released that no one will be confused. Just because E3 didn't reveal too much info and made you confused doesn't mean shit when they actually release it. You think most consumers are going to be like man this thing was revealed so confusing at E3 there is no way I am going to buy one once it is released. Most consumers probably got their Wii U info from local news, cable news, etc... Those news agencies were able to report it was a new console. You took everything that was vague or not even mentioned and made it turn out to be the end of the world because they didn't release the specs to you. OMG I am so confused must turn into flawed system pretty quickly for you. The system is a year away or more from release. What you expect them to do show you 20 games already finished, complete system specs (even though the specs might not even be finalized)...

I didn't comment on anything I didn't know, hence the reason why I kept referring to the UNVEILING as piss poor.
And when I see the product as a whole and everything I actulally know about it, I am still not entirely convinced. The controller is a huge deal breaker for me, too many phericals for too many different games just overcomplicates things, and barely any decent games have been announced for it. Sure the console is a year away but there should be far more games than what they announced, any new console that is being unveiled should at least have a few 1st party exclusives to show.
In the end, the consoles unveiling was poor, and what they did unveil wasn't impressive and just seemed impractical.
