No Nintendo is still trying to appeal to casuals. Seriously Wii 'U'...that's it?! Sounds gimmicky. No new controllers beside the main one, will be using Wii remotes still. are they so lazy to not create new ones?! I see this as failing hard as the GameCube for various reasons.

Its not about laziness and more of why do it if we are only going to pack in the same functionality in the new extra controllers besides the Wii U controller. Why make people buy new ones when they can still use the old Wiimotes? Do you want to buy new controls that do the same thing only to have a new controller that looks slightly different? Isn’t the Wii U controller enough?

OT: Nintendo will always be in this situation and at the same time lead the industry. People were always hitting on the Wii mote but then when their favourite company copied Nintendo they were all over it. Pathetic!

In that case we should be using Gamecube controllers forever, I mean why should Nintendo redesign new ones when we can simply reuse them FOREVER. Well I am saying this really for the market, Wii U is so similiar to the Wii in look that the casual market won't tell a difference besides controller. These are people who don't look at specs, the U doesn't really help say it's a new sytem. Why spend 400 dollars for a tablet like controller? Exactly.
