Heck, look at the Tea Party... despite in general how people try to paint them... they actually end up also in the "better educated" "make more money" camp according to most polls.

I thought the Tea Party came out of the Ron Paul movement.  What is with less than 30% of Tea Party folks actually viewing Ron Paul favorably?

Eh, not as much as you'd think.

It started up libretarian, but began to pick up heavy "normal" conservative followers.

What screwed it from becoming a fully libretarian movement was the smear campaign painting the Tea Party as racists.

In general that kept away fiscally conservative democrats stopping a good balance from occuring.

This will be seen in the coming elections.

Early on... many democrats received tea party endorsements.  I'm not sure the same will happen this time around.

Still... i'd take the Tea Party over the Neocon GOP anyday.  Fiscally Liberal and Socially Conservative is just the worst combination there is.
