There is a AAA minor league baseball team called the Sky Sox that play there. For no particular reason, my dad and I decided we wanted to watch a couple games of theirs while on our way out west. They happened to win both games, which was surprising considering they played Reno, who was first in their division. ------------- On topic, to keep all updated, I have since went into the mountains and camped a couple nights. It was slightly depressing compared to normal, since it was very windy, and there was extremely fine sand in the air that literally got in EVERYTHING. I am now in Flagstaff, Arizona. Our intentions are to make it to Las Vegas tomorrow to watch another game or two of minor league baseball (it just so happens the Colorado Springs Sky Sox are playing them). |
Go Sky Sox and too bad you had a windy camping experience. The camping here is still cold in June and you can even snowboard on some of the highest peaks. Have fun on the rest of your trip.
