Well they were correct because the last Gran turismo that had been released before F3 was GT5: Prologue.

F3 actually didn't have better graphics than Prologue overall. F3 had better environments for sure but Prologue had 1080p, better AA at least.

1280x1080 ingame not 1920x1080.
