hi guys

i know it is too early to write this topic & i don't know if this is the right place for my topic.

i am going back to my home country for vacation at the end of this year . so i want to buy a gift for my littel brother , at time being i am confused between PS vita (not released till now ) & 3DS ( recently released ) as i am not familiar with both of them i need some advice from some experts in VG world.

my brother is PS3 fanboy & he dosen't like Wii games this according to what i remember .althought he had both PSP and GBA but he never had DS .

what make me hesitate to buy PS vita : that i heared it has the same games for ps3 but i am not sure about this point .so i find it nonsense  to have 2 devices for same games

what make me hesitate to buy 3DS : that i am  not sure if it will has games with HD tecnology and i am not sure if its games are similar to wii game or not

i am sorry i am not an expert in VG as i left this world since many years  so i need help from current video gamers to start searching for a nice collection of games for whatever devices i will buy as i know he hasn't enough budget to buy games

i will be thankful for any help

at the moment, most are existing franchises but their completely new games.

the wipeout dev clearly said its all new tracks and ships and the bioshock guy also said it wont be a port. uncharted is already announced as a prequel to uncharted 1.

but dont be surprised if games like fifa are simple ports...but that would be a good thing right?

and theres far more control options on vita. for a start dual analogue sticks = simultaneous movement of character and camera, essential for fps games and also very useful in 3rd person and sports games which use it for tricks and skills.

it comes down to wheter your bro likes uncharted and wipeout or mario kart and zelda but expect 3rd party multiplats to be better on vita.

oh i almost forgot about 3d... you have to choose 3d or battery life. for a portable i know which one i'd go for.
