Actually you are right, according to a good friend of mine Egypt is not hardcore on sharia law nor cruel punishments so I apologize on that one.

yea if you said that before the revolution i would have understood as police was very brutal before the revolution and they could torture anyone they want but right now we have put emergency law on hold and torture isn't allowed anymore (most of the police right now is also very afraid to torture cause they would go to military court and get fucked over there).
