Yea it's not looking great for the 360. First of all noteably in Japan it's doing worse than the Xbox by close to 100,000 consoles in the same time limit. X360 sales no matter how much the hype has been is still doing worse than Xbox. America is still one to wait and see but I think many are right. The fanbase has pretty much already bought the 360. Like if Halo 3 were to be released today you'd probably see a 100% sell out of the installed base but really it won't push out any new buyers. Same thing happened with Gears. It wasn't a system seller and neither will Halo. Outside of the loyal MS fanbase Halo isn't that big of a game. Like I think a lot of people bought Halo 2 due to the hype and Halo 1 due to the hype of Halo 2. Yet many were probably dissappointed. But yes 360 has some game issues. The only games that sale on it tend to be Halo. So that'll definetly hurt it until Halo comes out. But 360 needs a system seller. It only has games that's in the area that only already owners of the consoles will buy. It's the same problem the Xbox had. Only providing to a certain class of gamer. Limiting itself. But overall I think the biggest loss for the 360 is in Europe and the rest of the world. With such an open market they should have been screaming sales yet the DS has been taking all the buys and either the rest is waiting for PS3 or buying Wii. 360 will lose Europe soon enough.
