Konami had a bit of a Silent Hill celebration at E3 this year. They announced the Silent Hill HD Collection, showed off Silent Hill: Downpour, and also announced a new game — Silent Hill: Book of Memories for the PlayStation Vita.

Virtually nothing about Book of Memories is known at the moment, other than that it will feature the very first multiplayer experience for the series, and will include a lot of the classic creatures the series has seen so far.

Konami say that Book of Memoriesis being scored by Daniel Licht, who’s also working on Downpour. Licht is best known for his work on the Dexter TV series.

i agree silent hill origins was really good on the PSP! (almost shat myself playing it in the dark) I hope the multiplayer is not team deathmatch though..

yeah I hope it's just co-op in the campaign or missions or something like that
