I can totally see why he'd say that, although for me personally I'd say Sony and Nintendo tied.
But Sony showed the Vita (although I like the 3DS' new games better) and had plenty of great software on hand (Bioshock Infinite supports Move!), whereas Nintendo only had the 3DS games, only one great Wii game, and nothing substantial software-wise for Wii U.
Microsoft had plenty of great games for 360 too as far as third party, just nothing exclusive that I personally care about, including Kinect's games and implementations.
