If they have to, Nintendo seems to have room to cut price. I'm pretty sure the main reason it was priced so high in the first place is because Nintendo didn't want to leave money on the table with three years of sellouts like they did with the Wii. If 3DS sales don't pick up with a couple killer apps and a holiday season, I think they're ready to bite the bullet.
But I'm puzzled as to why people make the same mistake every generation. Why do you think better specs means Vita is for victory? How many times does this have to be proven wrong?
