Let me first start off by saying that I am an big Nintendo fan, but Nintendo didn't give its fans anything they could sink their teeth into during their press con. The first party 3DS titles are coming this holiday which is a great thing and I for one will probably be picking up a 3DS during that time, which I planned on doing a couple months ago. But we already knew about Mario Kart, Mario 3DS, Kid Icarus, Starfox 64 and even Resident Evil. Luigi's Mansion was the only game if I remember correctly that Nintendo surprised us with. And with the Wii U, yes more info and games has to be released and shown in order for me to get excited about it, but we won't be able to get our hands on it until at least a year from now. They barely mentioned the Wii and had only 1 game to show for it, only Skyward Sword which looks great, but again we knew about this and saw it already. So in my opion any way, why have a press conference about games that we already know about and a system in which we were told very little about and had most people scratching their heads after what they just saw/heard during the presser. I found out more information about Wii U when Adam Sessler and Blair interviewed Reggie after the press conference (how it is acutally a console and not just a controller, it will be releasing after March 31, it will run in 1080p) than I did during the conference. Like last years press conference was good because they showed a bunch of games that we didn't know about such as Kirby, Metroid Other M, Golden Sun, Donkey Kong...I felt like this year was a little bit of a let down. Same goes for all the companies really.
"If new things are so great, where have they been the whole time?"
