You're right about the mainstream not having any expectations, heck they wouldn't have even watched it, so why bother catering to them at what is predominantly aimed at gamers like us?
I 100% get the direction they're taking, and that business wise they're in a much better position than the other 2 this holiday, but all this disney and sesame could have been at a small Kinect event during E3, and still reached the same target audience.
I can only think right now MS are dedicating resources to next gen, Rare didn't even show, Lionhead had that Fable game which looks poor at best, no Alan Wake?! Nothing from Ruffian, Robot Entertainment were suppose to be doing something other than that Orcs game, and a few other sudios didn't show anything.
Why didn't they show Rise of Nightmares? That's out THIS month and was one of the Japanese Kinect games they touted, I just don't get showing Disney and Sesame at this event, it truly is a slap in the face.
