I actually agree wholeheartedly with John Lucas' analysis, and would only add that it would take a marketing genius with enormous resources to steal the Wii's as-of-yet unmet demand from Nintendo. Any attempt to do so would have to be nothing short of astronomical, and I honestly doubt even Apple could pull it off, though they're probably best positioned to do so. They lack negative press in game console production since they've never made one, they're sitting on a pile of money from their successful iProducts, and they've got marketing geniuses abound. All of that going for them, and they'd still have their work cut out for them, since Nintendo's once again the biggest name in gaming out in cultures at large.
