having watched EA and ubisoft conferences I don't think so. there conference could have been better but there plan clearly all along has been to mostly to support Kinect and release a few well known core franchises. the rest is up to the 3rd party's. I think in E3 itself they may have lost but leading away from E3 the year will have went well for them. that is my opinion.
