And a handheld is not inevitable, MS are not stupid, there is absoloutely no room in that market. Windows Phone 7 is their 'handheld'

At least 500 million was invested, and that was just advertisement! :P Most likely seece, it was a 1 billion dollar investment. Apparantly Microsoft Kin was also a billion dollar investment (I did any assignment on this), so it is reasonable to assume that this might be as well. However.... he is most likely making crap up. 

Nah, to buy the techonology (which was pretty far ahead anyway) and the isralie company, was a mere $30 mill
