Well, look at it this way: in your average playthrough of their games, who would die more? Ryu or Kratos?

It's probably because Ninja Gaiden is so unforgivingly hard that we see Ryu as weak. Also, Kratos kills gods.

Why do people use the fact fact that Krastos Kills Gods as reasoning for his strength? The Final boss in just about 80% of all JRPG are Gods.. Japan has been killin gods since SNES .... Hell Tekken characters has killed a Gods. ( Ogre God of War) Not a Deal Sealer reason btw shouldn't the that NG is super hard Ryu chops down enemies like better prove his strength? Kratos runs through a kid adventure compared to Ryu and Ryu has killed Dieties/Gods
