I don't even know how to start this XD. I'm trying so hard to contain my excitement that I'm afraid I'll write something that doesn't make sense. Give me a moment to get my mind in order .... AWRHhrhi*jrhifjhy4HArhu4 a$A)^(@0#Y#$Y)#@hrjihjirhfah%... okay that's better. So there's one day left till we get to watch all the latest gaming news from E3. New trailers, announcements, Project Cafe, NGP... so much to look forward to. This is the last day, and that means the last countdown post, and what better way to finish things off than to hype up The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword :D. It's a new Zelda game, how can you not be excited for it? So far we don't know much about it, all that has been talked about is the motion-plus control, so the story has remained an enigma. There have been a few hints as to what to expect, such as the fairy girl who stands beside Link in the concept art. Most people now know that she's most likely Link's sword, and so this story is probably going to be about the origin of the Master Sword; which means it'll be the very first game in the timeline. We also know that Link's instrument is a harp (or some other fancy name). It's fascinating because during Ocarina of Time, Sheik plays a harp to teach Link new songs. Could we also be getting an origin story about the Sheikah, or at least some information about their race? Oh, and what is the deal with Skyloft? Perhaps there's a link (T_T no pun intended) to City in the Sky from Twilight Princess. Argh, so many question. I think I'll just lay them to rest for now and wait till we learn more at E3.

Another thing to get excited about is the music. This will be the first time a Zelda game will have an Orchestrated score. Just think about how amazing Super Mario Galaxy's music is, and that should be enough to get you excited. I even remember reading an article that stated that Mahito Yokota (composer of SMG) is working on SS's musical score, alongside Koji Kondo. That makes me feel all warm and happy... like a bath on a cold day ^_^. Apart from the music, there's the beautiful art style. Now I completely understand fans disappointment when they first saw Skyward Sword... going from the first concept art shown during E3 2009, they were expecting a more mature Zelda. Though I think it's stunning, and reminiscent of a Monet painting. Wind Waker also got strong criticism for it's cartoonish style, though once it released people noticed how amazing it looked, and even to this day I can play it and be amazed. Also, it's been a year since we saw Zelda at E3... a year in development means that they could of changed a lot, perhaps even fiddled around with the art style. (shrugs) Who knows... all we can do is wait and see :D.

All I'm hoping for during Nintendo's press conference is a story-based trailer... something to get us really excited for the next entry in the Zelda franchise. The other two trailers for SS have been entertaining, but they didn't make me hyperventilate and run around till I passed out, like I wanted them to . So come on Nintendo, show us something incredible. Show a trailer that will make us weep, just as we did for the announcement of Twilight Princess. We've been waiting a long time, I trust that Nintendo will show us something that will make it worth our while
