I can tell you about Wipeout HD. I found it difficult, but then again, I'm not much of a racer gamer. It's fun but difficult. Online is pretty fun too. The bad thing about it is that there isn't much to do like not a lot of game modes. Can't comment about the add-on. What's the other free game?

Did you enable voice chat from option screen?
