It would be ignorant to say that everyone that has bought a ps2 already has a current-gen console. When they decide to buy a new console, i think it's safe to say that they will research which console is a better buy for them. There's no doubt that the ps2 games had a profound effect on their preferences.

Pretend this is two years from now. The Wii price has dropped considerably (let's say 180) and the ps3 has dropped to (250) . When they see a bunch of games that they recognize on the ps3 that were on the ps2, would they choose a Wii over a PS3? After all, it is just a 70 dollar difference.

 What games, you know most people didn't buy GTA or MGS, you're on VGC you should know that, most of the games that sell are the casual stuff, and the shovelware, they'll see all that stuff on the Wii
