Pretend this is two years from now. The Wii price has dropped considerably (let's say 180) and the ps3 has dropped to (250) . When they see a bunch of games that they recognize on the ps3 that were on the ps2, would they choose a Wii over a PS3? After all, it is just a 70 dollar difference.

So the PS3 would be at less than half of its initial price, and the Wii wouldn't even be at half of its price?

Let me tell you something, if that does happen in two years it means that the Wii is still selling out (or at least selling fantastically) at $180. If Wii demand drops, all Nintendo has to do is drop another $50 off the price, and watch it sell great again.
