I dunno, is that a normal decline for a $150 peripheral? You're comparing it to much cheaper products. All I can tell you is its one of the best selling items of the year and I expect a huge boost this coming holiday. Its also moving a ton of software by the way. All you're showing me is Nintendo was wrong. It would have definitely fit with Wii's audience (Wii fans love party, exercise, and dance games) and MS was able to make it reasonably priced. Nintendo could have done amazing things if it were used with Wiimote as well. Iwata wasn't fit for Kinect. Simple as that. |
The only thing to decline as fast as kinect is the 32x but thats a add on . Also the top selling software is Kinect sports,Dance central together they are about 5 million and with kinectimals and joy ride is about 2 million which about 7 million anymore I miss? These numbers give the ratio that their is actually people who didn't buy a extra game with kinect. Since 10 million own one which is 0.70 ratio.
I think you misinterpret what mean it by mistake is that it won't help wii longterm. Going by sales now it seems nintendo was right. Though if you look at only the holiday season it looks like a mistake
