Is it sexy? It's really too early to say I think. Honestly, I'm a little flustered right now. There's so much colour and so many options.
I really like the spot below the 1st post now though. While I understand the need for advertisements, I think also showing other features on the site (I see the weekly sales article, along with some news items) is a really good way of increasing connectivity between the various sections of the site.
I think 2.0 will be a big improvement over 1.0, it'll just take some time to get used to :)
