Well the devs said they want it on consoles but want to focus on a single platform at a time. Hence why PC version was the only one released so far and then comes the X360 version because as you mention, it's easier to port and finally the PS3 version since it'll take them more time to make a good PS3 version since it'll be a bit harder to port.
We shall see...
