The more I look at the screen, the more reality sinks in and tells me it's going to be the same dreadful system. As much as it tortures my soul to say it, I could turn a blind eye on the poor battle system if they decide to keep it the same. As long as they throw in some rich exploration. Believe it or not, I did get to Gran Pulse in the original because I was promised side quests. And when I realized the sidequest were more battles (something I impatiently grew sick of for at least 30 hours) I finally threw in the towel.
I really tried to like the game, I genuinely did.
