I own Kinect. Currently my view is this. It's a great, but mainly as a party gaming device for now. Thats what M$ have done with it so far. That was their initial aim.
However Kinect certainly has much more future scope than the current Wii or Move control methods. We already know the types of games possible with the sticks in your hand control methods. Kinects is wide open, certainly to brand new genres aand ways of gaming. But equally important is the entertainment side. Using Kinect with HD movies is fantastic. And this E3 looks to bring more Kinect features to the Dashboard and enteertainment side of things. Voice typing ( I hope so ).
Potentially kinect has a betteer future. It asks for devs to open there minds, not stay within th current limits of controller environments.
