I argue that allowing those things promotes the game, that piracy doesn't subtract from your game's sales and the exposure may add to it (of course I am against piracy). They are losing more by being so restrictive. I don't think multiple people from the same household playing each other is piracy, I view it as local multiplayer like Mario Kart or DS Download Play games. I don't mean multiple people playing online simultaneously with one copy. Blizzard chose to restrict this. |
Thats what I was thinking. What made Sc1 so great it was easy to get to play online free and legaly with the spawn copies, and that helped nurture a great community that helped keep the game selling for so long. I dont think sc2 will recreate that feel.
