Did you miss the not trade secrets... and not allowed to take him to court for it post?
Hooray though, the big company took someone to trial for something that wasn't illegal and got him to sign a paper to not touch their products because he didn't want to be in a protracted legal battle with a multinational corproation.
If you actually think that's a good thing... I don't even know where one would start.
