Awesome franchise and one of the first games where I felt the enemy AI was actually thinking about how to kill me (Syphon Filter 1, PS1). Not a big fan of Gabe Logan's vanilla personality but evey game in the series was epic--even if they were pretty difficult at times. I think a lot of cover based TPS's can trace a good bit of their gameplay back to Syphon Filter.
Anyway, great news and I'll be grabbing this game as soon as it hits the shelves. It's been too long since we've had a full fledged console based Syphon Filter game.
