I suspect that several studios will be careful not to alienate people who bought into HD-DVD because (for the next little while) a noticeable percentage of Blu-Ray adopters will have been former HD-DVD owners; Paramount doesn't want them to sulk and (potentially) boycott or badmouth their products because they decided to support Blu-Ray.
