No shit. In my eyes, they are leaps and bounds ahead of Nintendo as well.

Just curious but why? Nintendo in my eyes has the IP department on lock. I'd say they have an entire 2-3 tiers of IPs with more selling potential than anything Sony is able to produce. Anything we can really judge IP success by is something Nintendo crushes Sony at overall.

Sales? It's very likely that they'll outdo Sony indeed (99% chance!). I just don't like the fact that they barely make any worthy new IP's, and the ones that they do have are redone to all hell, time and time again (with nice breathes of air, like Wind Waker, SMG, and DKC Returns, some others). Make something new, guys. The genre diversity is also not as big as Sony's.

You do know that most Sony games are bought up together with the company that makes them right? I hardy call that “making” new IPs :P

What games are you talking about?

Guerilla Games: creators of Killzone was bought by Sony in end of 2005

Naughty dogs: creators of Uncharted was bought in 2001

Media Molecule: creators of little big planet was bought in 2010

Insomniac might not have been bought by Sony but they do make exclusive games and a lot of people might think oh it is a new Sony IP

Factor Five has the White night IP and some think it is a Sony game but it is not :P

Just because it is an exclusive does not mean it is created by Sony.

Now what games are new that were made by Sony and not just bought up :P

as i do not play that many PS games i might have missed a few

Bad bad Sony, they actually spend money to try to provide exclusive new IPs to their customers...

You probably mean Level 5, not Factor 5, in any case you are wrong, the IP is property of Sony.( WKC is a trademark of Sony, Developed by lvl 5, this is what the back of game box says...)

Yes I meant level 5

Well looking up Little big planet it also says that Sony is the developer :P

Well if you pay for exclusives your not creating them which was my point in my first post. Of course they own the IPs but they still bought them and they were not originally created by Sony

Now I am not saying Nintendo creates every exclusive IP that comes to their consoles but they sure have more in house developed games than what Sony has
