Yeah, I agree the bigass logo on there is pretty obtrusive but you're absolutely right it's necessary. You have to wonder why they don't create a boxart art that works better with that massive logo because they know it's going to be there.
Still though, looking between this and something like the Resistance 3 boxart, I probably like the bigass necessary logo better than the 20 unnecessary logos...

Even though I think the franchise is one of the most overhyped franchises this gen the box art itself is pretty awesome, it just has all that crap covering it up.

true when i use to have a ps3 before i sold it i played resistance i thought it was terrible and shows how amazing gears of war is woo my fav franchise this generation
