Global warming-fact or fiction and how do you propose we tackle it?

Global warming is almost indisputably fact. But even if you can't prove it is happening, wouldn't it still be good to cut back on the pollution? That is a health concern. Plus, even if it isn't true, better safe than sorry would be a good philosophy to follow.
