To me there`s just something special about Gears 1. Seems more... natural and challenging! That`s probably it. :D
Although Gears 2 is a pretty awesome game aswell.
Didn`t play multiplayer, btw.


Same. I'm in it for the campaign. I don't have Live so i've never played a multi game on either.


I've never played more than a level and a half of either Gears games by myself.  Co-op made Live worth it all by itself.  It's just a different experience.
