I dunno how many of you are aware, but this week EA and BioWare released the formerly PS3 exclusive interactive comic for Mass Effect 2 that allows you to make Mass Effect 1 decisions without even playing the game. Of course, did we get this in a free update? Of course not! It's up on the marketplace right now for 320 Microsoft Points ($4)! Are you guys freaking kidding me? 4 bucks for a little thing at the beginning of the game that I'll only use if I don't wanna play Mass Effect 1 again? Sounds like a deal to me!

Of course, I'll bet someone will come into this thread and tell me "if you don't want it, you don't have to buy it!" That's great, but it's a ripoff even if I did want it. Why should we pay for something that others got for free? Am I the only one grossly offended by this? I'd rather buy horse armor than waste my money on this!

Are you kidding me??!?!?! You're complaining about this!?!?!? First off I bought ME2 day 1 and I payed $65.30 US. So no, you have no right to complain. You have the game and can get it for cheap. The comic can be seen as something for those who do not feel the need to experience the entire ME1 be it time contraints or other factors, so no, $4 is not a bad price to pay for roughly 15 min of entertainment (ever bought comic books in your life like I have? I have Maximum Carnage around here somewhere, best comic btw). It kills 2 birds with 1 stone, giving you some background story and altering certain things in ME2. Otherwise you can just go to wiki if you do not feel the need to alter anything, so in the end NO, you do not have the right to complain yet I DO for being charged full price over a year later but I still enjoyed the game.

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.
