I have my doubts about Killzone 2 here aswell. Even though I will buy it to earn those home trophies when they come about.
But considering that Phil Harrison is in charge I would expect him to do what he knows is right.
Im optimistic because alot may have happend during those years to perhaps change Guerrillas attitude and management enough to motivate them to prove to the gaming world that they aren't some mediocre game developers. Im sure by now that the gaming community is monitored by many developers for feedback and opinions. I know if I were Guerilla, and I would repeatedly read the same comments about how "killzone sucks!" and "Guerilla Games isn't worth 2 shits" then I would friggin do my best to shut those people up. I don't think Guerrilla wants keep wandering in humilation as game creators.
Plus alot of people here are essentially needlessly drawing out Lair as "huge game that flopped", because it wasn't a huge game. And those that only hyped that shit were those who desperately wanted the PS3 sales to get a miraculous boost over night. Personally when I saw Lair for the first time, I had a pre-emptive bad feeling about it. I dont see Lair as being a worthy example to dismiss the potential of Killzone 2.
Lets see what happens. It can only go two ways: Positive or negative.
