Videos can neever show you the real gameplay feeling. I have seen quite some games that looked awesome on videos but played very disgusting.
Video game developers make us of this fact. They show awesome videos with the best graphics and sound, and people buy the games just on this. The best way to try out a game was and still is a demo.
