suda 51 has style, that's a fact.  but i was pretty disappointed by NMH.  i'm willing to give this a chance but i'm waiting for some impression from VGCharters i trust before buying.

wait you didnt like no more heroes?

not enough to finish it or buy the sequel.  the boss fights were really really good but the overworld and chores were extremely boring and the lead up to boss fights was too repetitive.  i liked portions of the game but overall not so much.  too much boring repetitive fluff to get to the gold.

If that's how you feel, you should definitely get the sequel. Because all the boring stuff was completely removed, the game isn't open world anymore and favors a moer hub-based mission structure. There are fun mini games that let you earn money and buy weapons and stuff, but they're all optional. You can beat all the boss fights in rapid succession if you like :D Plus, I fully agree that NMH1 has a ton of boring stuff before each boss fight but I still think it's worth playing through at least once. Those final 2 boss fights are not to be missed :D
