I dont think the last administration were angels either. They made some big errors. I personally think this administration is making more errors, but of course that is up for debate as expected. There has been a problem developing for years, and its not only in the United States. I personally think there are some major ineffeciencies in the entitlement programs that trillions of $s are being dumped into and some of that money...well who knows where it goes. The entitlement programs are a mess, and I personally think they need to be trimmed down and corrected to work more efficiently with a lot less cost. The last admnistration, and moreso this administration has just added to the problem. Entitlement programs are a very tricky business.
When a government decides to provide a service to its citizens the citizens then become used to getting that service, and any form of reduction, or cuts in those programs will often create riots in the streets as we have seen in various countries! Instead of adding more entitlement programs we need to be reforming the ones we have to work better and cost much less. there is so much wasteful spending in governement, it should be considered a crime in most cases. Right now the current policies are obviously not working and just creating more problems. its really disheartening that what needs fixed is not getting fixed.
