No it matters a lot, because in one case you are dong something out of the need to feed yourself, the other you do for shits and giggles.

i still don't see why it matters... its a skill that you are using against someone who offended your friend... but regardless if thats the case lets say its not your profession merely a skill you have and you merely to do it yourself projects on the weekend

if the person's house is isolated and the time is right yes but i suppose to a certain extent you're right... but i suppose i figured it should be obvious that i didn't mean carpentry exactly but a skill which may be used to harm another... furthermore the issue of anonymity wasn't an issue in terms of what i originally posted - someone is offended by someone else, a friend then supports that friend by uing a skill to cause harm to the offender - anonymity doesn't really have to play a part in that... if the offender in sony's situation wasn't anonymous and was known it woudn't have changed the fact that the hack occured and that some people would have expected sony to predict it... but regardless lets say its a skill that can be used to cause harm and remain anonymous
