inFamous and LBP are big games with a lot of content. I can see this as a double edged sword: Maybe the old games will be enough to "scratch the itch" and people won't feel compelled to buy the sequels. Maybe the originals will make gamers hungry for more. Maybe HDD space is an issue so people (like me) are goning to opt for the smaller games.
In my particular case, I alresdy own the big games. I'll have to settle for Wipeout and Dead Nation for PS3 and I'll have to settle for Mod Nation and Pursuit force on PSP. We'll just have to see what gamers end up doing. Personally, I just want the PS Store up and running so I can get my copy of Back to the Future that I already paid for in advance!
