The main point was that it is moronic to say that a system couldn't be successful when you know absolutely nothing about it. Even if the rumours are true, and it has a touch screen, with the people who said that motion controls on the Wii were pointless and the touch screen on the DS was a bad idea, I'm not willing to pass judgement on something like this until it has officially been demonstrated.

I'm just speaking as if the rumors are true.  Nothing wrong with speculation.  And the Wii and DS were different, because both of those techs were relatively new, and hadn't been used for gaming in that way.  However, touchscreens are pretty commonplace, now.  And while it can definitely can have some interesting uses in a game, people won't be drawn to it like they were to motion gaming in the Wii.
