WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, INTERNET!!! AND IT HAZ THE UTUB AWSUM!!!!!!!!!111

Seriously, why so much hype for a web browser?

Maybe cuz it's currently the easiest way I know to watch 3D youtube videos with a good image (as opposed to red/blue glasses 3d on youtube)

i just poked around youtube and the only 3D options i saw were red/cyan, side by side, and interlace. are you sure the youtube is compatible with the 3DS?

I can say with a fair degree of certainty (as much without actual tests and confirmation) that red/cyan 3D video (single channel) is not compatible with the 3DS, which uses two separate non-interlaced full RGB video signals to produce its 3D effect.

And before anyone says it's "compatible" in that you could still watch those videos with a 3D effect by wearing red/cyan lens glasses with your 3DS, that pretty much defeats the purpose of having a built in parallax barrier stereoscopic 3D display.

There are however, cameras that shoot in two channel mode that should be compatible. Ironically, Sony makes a 3D version of their Bloggie video cameras that should be compatible.
