From what I recall, Project Cafe is "significantly" more powerful than the ps3 and 360. I don't know why he keeps referring to it being equal to those current consoles in terms of power.

what are the specs for cafe?

significant doesnt really mean anything

I don't have the specs, obviously. From a quick google search I found what people think are leaked specs, to be taken with a grain of salt. Here: http://www.bit-tech.net/news/gaming/2011/04/25/project-cafe-system-specs-leaked/1

Not being much of a tech guy, I wouldn't know how to compare that to the 360 and ps3. If you do a google search, you can see a few results where Developers are claiming the Project Cafe to be "significantly more powerful than the ps3/360." What that translates into numbers, who knows, but we'll find out soon enough.

from the link...

"The sources also said that rumours about the console's graphical power were true, with Project Cafe set to outperform even the PlayStation 3's NVIDIA 7800GTX-based processor."

nvidia's 7800 is old and outdated now, ps3 never really had a fantastic gpu, saying that something will outpreform that isnt saying much, and likewise with the x360 comparison:

"The CPU for Project Cafe is said to be a custom-made triple-core IBM PowerPC chipset which is fundamentally similar to the Xbox 360's CPU, albeit with faster clock speeds."

while x360s processor did have some new components (like the PPE made for cell processing), isnt saying much either, a faster clock speed is nice, but x360 is already running at 3.2 ghz, so i doubt it will be much better

the source should have compared cafes processor to ps3s processor as thats where the ps3s power comes from, likewise they should have compared the gpu to x360s as it has a more powerful gpu than the ps3, not the other way around.
