@PDF
i wasn't really putting much effort into that last post i did so sorry if i offended you..
But the main thing i'm saying is that the laws we've been working for for the last few decades will be overturned. Even if he appoints a non-radical conservative judge, the laws will be in favor of the conservatives.
To me, this means a society of more intolerance. for example, No gay rights.
and a society of less innovation. for example, No stem cell research.
and then theres abortion. Like it or not, abortion pushed the crime levels down in the 1990's, because two decades before the 1990's was Roe VS Wade. The children who would've been born, weren't. The majority of women who seek abortion aren't rich. They are mainly of the lower class, and face it, people in this country weren't born equal. If you were born into the lower class, you're public schools around you aren't as good, you probably don't have health care, etc.
the crime level didn't go down because of the fact that there were more policemen. The crime rate was already dropping when a lot more policemen began to be hired.
The booming economy wasn't why crime decreased either. The 60's were a time of economic strength, comparable to the 90's, but the crime rate was horrible back then.
banning abortion would be horrible for the future of this country IMHO.
