The big Problem is that there are hardly any good PS3 JRPGs or RPGs. The PS3 is not a RPG Console like the PS1 and PS2 was, the PS3 is definitely more a Shooter Console. Even the US Console Xbox 360 has a lot more and better exklusiv JRPGs than the Japan Console PS3, that is extremly sad the PS3 is a real shame for the PS1 and PS2. Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia and Blue Dragon are very much better than any JRPG on the PS3 and they are all Xbox 360 exklusiv.
Also the Wii has more and better JRPGs than the PS3, Xenoblade and the Last Story destroy everything on PS3.
And the Nintendo DS and PSP also way better alternatives to play JRPGs than the PS3.
I think the PS3 is the last thing you should by if you like the JRPG Genre, all other Consoles are offer more and better JRPGs than the PS3 do.
PS. The Nintendo 3DS will also get very good JRPGs over the next few years on that you can be sure, so if you really like JRPGs than sell your Shooterstation 3 and buy a Nintendo 3DS.
