Yeah, because having freezing at 0 and boiling at 100 is totally illogical. If only they were at some random numbers instead.
On a more serious note, surely the US has already adopted some metric as it's currency is in demoniations of 100, so 100c = $1. Rather than £1 = 12s and 12s = 12d as we had here in the U.K pre 1971.
