I looked into OnLive a little bit more. I've never tried the service myself but it looks pretty sweet on paper. Pre-order the Duke Nukem Forever game and get the console controller for free. And if you subscribe to their $10/month PlayPack bundle you get unlimited play of 50 games (mainly older releases ie. Borderlands) for free. But then there's the bandwidth issue. So as long as North American ISPs insist on being bandwidth nazis though (especially here in Canada), cloud gaming isn't going to take off though. And then imagine being locked out of your games completely for 23 days (OnLive is purely online after all, at least you can play offline with a PS3) and having your info compromised (like I said though, this is pretty much the nature of the beast these days. E-commerce is risky business and to be quite honest there's no way I'm giving up online shopping cold turkey. I can't give up Amazon and PayPal and there's no point in me driving to a store wasting precious gas when I can order online and get free shipping.)
