How did I miss this thread? Thanks for your efforts CGI. I'll stay off the boards starting tomorrow to avoid spoilage but I am stoked up. Ballbusters wouldn't take my pre-order because of the receivership but they hid one away with my name on it. I know TB isn't R* SD but I hope this gets the same kind of critical reception and WoM as RDR. I was never a big GTA fan and won't mind a more linear storyline and a lot less collecting.
Bring on the low-life. I'm going for District Attorney and a run for governator. The sales split will be worth watching. It's set in the U.S. so 360 has the early advantage but WW should be close. PS3 will show the better legs. 6-7m total LT?
I'm with Boutros and Co. who think ancient Rome would make an excellent backdrop. Maybe the late Republic under the dictators Marius and Sulla. JC was just a whelp growing up in the Subura at the time but things got real interesting. Not sure how accurate Colleen MacCullough's (sp.?) trilogy is but it was quite a read. Lindsay Davis' Falco might translate well. A legionary turned detective in the time of Vespasian & sons. Sorry, way off topic. Come on Tuesday
