The entire debacle shows something despicable, IMO.

Namely, the Sony fanboys yelling at their fellow PS3 owners.

It's not only Sony fans. Every console has followers that want 100% loyalty from their owners. I've been declared a Nintendo hater because I had some criticisms on Nintendo's strategy back in 2008.

It's true... though, at least that was strategy and not... giant interent breach screwup.

I mean... maybe i'm remembering wrong, but I don't remember anyone defending RROD. At best i remember vague "yeah, it's bad but we don't know what % of consoles it is.

Then once we found out exact numbers... everyone pretty much just accepted it and would just get angry when people brought up RROD in complety unrelated threads... ones that were usually critical of the PS3.

Of course to be fair... even at the height of Xbox fans... There were probably less then 10, and a couple of those i think were just playing devil's advocate because 360 is the universally dumped on console.

360 gets a bad rap... and even I can see it despite my regretting owning one.

Just wish I bought all my 360 games on PS3. (Though to be fair the 360 was a gift. Still i bought games on 360 just so i'd have an excuse to play it.)
